Plans for tomorrow in Osaka – September 14, 2019

Munich airport terminal

I suffer from a bit of jet lag from the flight from Munich to Osaka. I landed early in the morning. Because I wasn’t able to sleep on the flight, I tried to stay awake as late as I could. But my body was just too weak as I was awake for many hours.

Eventually, I just couldn’t be awake not longer and just fell asleep at around 12:00 pm. I thought it’s about 16:00 pm, but this is because I landed very early. I knew I won’t be able to hang on until the evening like that.

I woke up at around 20:00 pm. I’ve decided to share some moment from the landing and the first day on my travel blog. After that, I’ll try to go to sleep again at around 2:00 am and wake up very early at 5:00 am and head to Kishiwada to see the Danjiri Festival.

This is a big festival that I discovered about just today. It’s one of the oldest and most lively festivals in the Kansai region, so I am definitely going. The festival will take place at Kishiwada.  It’s a city located in Osaka Prefecture but outside Osaka City. The city is well known for this particular event.

There is also a castle there, Kishiwads Castle It’s another Japanese castle that I haven’t seen yet. I never was in that city and I am always looking for new things to see.

We’ll see how long I’ll stay there. I plan to see the festival and the castle and hang around in the city. There might be other things to see there.  I’ll probably end the day in Namba for a bit of outside relaxation. I also need to buy food at the supermarket to have something in the hostel room to eat.

I first thought I’ll just start the day easy, but reading about that festival, Of course, there is no way I am going to miss it.

Of course, this time around, I am taking my DSLR camera, so I am going to have even better pictures to share with you.

Don’t forget to visit my blog tomorrow for more updates.
