Today I went to Shinsaibashi. Incidentally, I came across a Disney Store there. The store is located at Shinsaibashi-suji shopping street at Chuo-ku ward in Osaka, Japan.
I’ve been in the area before but I didn’t see that specific store. I felt like going to the area again and just have a nice day walking in the streets of Osaka similarly as I did the previous day.
Entering Disney Store
To begin with, this Disney store has two floors. Both filled with Disney related merchandise. It’s a wonderful store, which stands out from the rest. You can find Disney dolls, schedule books, calendars, key holders, umbrellas, cups, bags, miniatures and much more.

Is Disney store at Shinsaibashi tax-free? Yes. As you can see from the sign on the right, the Disney store at Shinsaibashi is tax-free.
It’s a beautiful entrance. Nice brown carpets at the entrance welcome you to the store. The shop is well-lit and there is plenty of space to walk and enjoy viewing the merchandise on the shelves.
Inside the Disney Store
The inside of the store is tastefully designed. You feel like you are entering another world. It is packed with lots of Disney-related commodities. As you can see in the image below, there are bags, wallets, necklaces, miniature marvel heroes, dolls, etc.

It’s isn’t a big store not that I myself found something that I would like to buy. My niece, however, loves Disney and I think it’s a nice place to buy her a present.
Famous Disney Characters Observing From Above
To the right, you can see a lineup of many memorable Disney characters popping out from suitcases. This is actually the part that I enjoy most in the store.

I wonder if you can purchase those dolls, I don’t think so, but I didn’t ask. They look really cool. I was looking up as I checked out the diverse products in the store. I particularly loved the ‘Three Little Pigs’ dolls, and Timon and Pumbaa of course. All are smiling and happy to see you.

The Second Floor
The second store also has many products. I was quite startled to see so many caching machines to be honest. It’s not like people are waiting in line for it. Maybe it was like that in the grand opening, but the store, at the time I was visiting was quite empty.

Anyway, I fancy the first floor better. It just felt more welcoming, more open and I liked the dolls at the top. As you can see from the above photo, there are an abundance of furry dolls there. Of course if you already there, check both floors. The products are different on each floor, so you might find out something that you like there.
More photos from the store.
To summarize, a great little store to buy Disney-related merch. In addition to visiting one of the most attractive shopping areas at Shinsaibashi-suji shopping street, Shinsaibashi in Osaka, Japan.
